MISSION STATEMENT
By making tastings less stuffy, we hope more people will get the chance to see the possibilities in every bottle. Our Wine Guides are committed to bringing joy through a relaxed home experience that educates and demystifies wine.
ABOUT
It was a beautiful day back in 2001 when we held our very first in-home wine tasting. Ever since that first tasting, our company has grown like crazy. Maybe it’s the great wine. Or the friendships. Or maybe people love trying wine in their home for free.
Whatever the reason, our story is still only beginning to unfold. But since the very first day our mission has been crystal clear.
By making tastings less stuffy, we hope more people will get the chance to see the possibilities in every bottle. Our Wine Guides are committed to bringing joy through a relaxed home experience that educates and demystifies wine. By going out in our communities and sharing our love and passion, we seek to build friendships and great memories along the way. Together we’ll sip, savor and change the way the world sees, tastes and shops for wine.

COMPENSATION PLAN

THINGS TO KNOW

How do I make money?
Your most direct source of income is your personal marketing fees from each tasting you schedule. You make up to 35% of the orders you personally generate. (It’s a sliding scale, the higher the sales, the higher the percentage.) As you build a team, you will also start to earn money for the success of your downline team members. Add in the bonuses you get for achieving various goals and benchmarks and it can add up to serious money.

What kind of people become Wine Guides?
All kinds of people. Every kind of person. Men and women. Retirees and people just getting started. Stay-at-home parents, people with full-time jobs. Hobbyists and people looking for careers. Anybody interested in wine and willing to stick with it can be a successful Wine Guide.

What kind of time comitment am I looking at?
That’s entirely up to you. There are training modules to complete and events to schedule, arrange, and attend, but you decide your own pace. Most events tend to fall on evenings or weekends and last just a few hours. Take a look at your schedule now. What kind of time commitment do you want to make?

What costs will I have?
Our costs are low. Your initial expense is $179.99 for your Success Kit. It includes all your training materials as well as everything you need for your first two tastings. After the first two events, you replace the wine for your tasting sets – at $75 per set – BUT if your event met the standards for a ‘qualified event’ (which is determined by the orders you collect), we credit you the cost of your next set. A successful tasting means a free tasting set. Finally, when you join, we set you up with your very own, personalized Wine Guide website. The first three months of hosting your website are free, after which there is a $15.95 monthly fee.
PROS OF TRAVELING VINEYARD
CONS OF TRAVELING VINEYARD
I love the flexibility I get with Traveling Vineyard. There is no pressure to go beyond what I want to do, only support. I happen to have a FT job that I love and I think it's great that I can do both. The educational opportunities and the benefits are outstanding and I basically have my own business but never feel alone, there is support all around to assist me in doing great things. The wines are fantastic and I …

They need a few more accessories to market but other than that I have no complaints. They listen every time there is concern. I would like to see a way to virtually attend and get credit for some of the regional meetings since it's often hard to make them.
